Tiêm tế bào gốc và các liệu pháp tái tạo là những phương pháp điều trị sử dụng các tế bào sửa chữa của chính cơ thể bạn. Thay vì phẫu thuật, các tế bào hoặc sản phẩm từ tế bào được tiêm vào một khớp hoặc một gân bị tổn thương. Ý tưởng là giúp mô của bạn tự lành.
Có một vài loại. Tế bào gốc trung mô, thường gọi tắt là MSC, là những tế bào sửa chữa thường được lấy từ tủy xương hoặc mô mỡ.
